The chair of the Public Accounts Committee John McGuinness has admitted that he voted ‘No’ in the referendum to give more powers to Oireachtas Committees.
He says the proposals went too far and infringed on the rights of the individual.
The referendum was defeated following a vote last Friday.
Deputy McGuinness has told Breakfast here on Newstalk that he did not want more power for his Committee.
