John McGuinness says NAMA appears to have misled Public Accounts Committee when he was Chairman

The former chairman of the Public Accounts Committee says NAMA appears to have misled them.

Kilkenny Fianna Fáil TD, John McGuinness was head of the committee when NAMA last appeared and answered questions about Project Eagle.

Since then new details surrounding the exit of US firm, Pimco, have emerged.

There are also calls for Finance Minister, Michael Noonan to appear before the PAC for questioning.

Deputy McGuinness told KCLR News today that NAMA has a significant number of questions to answer about its processes and how it sells these properties.
